Who are you ?

I am a 42 year old father of two cool kids and husband of a great wife. A snowboarder, lousy Playstation gamer, motivated IT guy who love to make things happen. A learner, a seeker. Sceptic on frameworks and recipes for agile transformations.

What do you do for a living?

Last year I quit my job as Vice President IT at AutoScout24 to do some kind of sabbatical. Additionally to hiking the Bavarian mountains, going snowboarding, visiting my grannies and spending time with my kids and wife I thought about sharing my experience with people on the journey towards mastery, autonomy and purpose. So I bounced this idea in my network and got good feedback.
2018 is my trial period on becoming a self-directed, self-employed advisor on lean-agile at scale including culture, technology, structure, people and processes. I am big fan of Kanban to optimize the flow of value delivery.

What do you want to speak about at FlowCon ?

I am going to speak about how we at AutoScout24 implemented a Kanban Flight Level 3 system to manage the strategic portfolio of the company. We were really strategy and metric driven. I would like to share some experiences how we set up and run this system in a organization of 350 people.
